Find the ratio of the following. 

(a) Speed of a cycle 15 km per hour to the speed of scooter 30 km per hour. 

(b) 5 m to 10 km 

(c) 50 paise to ₹ 5

For solving this question firstly we have to check the units of the mentioned things are same.

(a) Speed of a cycle 15 km per hour to the speed of scooter 30 km per hour:

Hence, the required ratio = $\frac{Speed of cycle}{Speed of scooter}$

= $\frac{15}{30}$

= $\frac{1}{2}$

(b)  5 m to 10 km :

We know that,  1 km = 1000 m

Thus,5 km = 5000 m

Hence, the required ratio = $\frac{5}{10000}$

= $\frac{1}{2000}$

(c) 50 paise to ₹ 5:

We know that, ₹ 1 = 100 paise

₹ 5 = 500 paise

Hence, the required ratio = $\frac{50}{500}$

= $\frac{1}{10}$
