Concepts: The square root would be 1.7375.
Try to take out common terms in order to make calculation easier.
Given: 6 + 12-24-√8
Rewriting above equation as:
⇒36 + 12-24-√8{∵–36 + 12-24-8
Taking 12 common from first two terms and √4 from other two terms, we get
123-2+√4(3-2)
Now, taking out (3-√2) common from above equation, we know the value of √3 is 1.7321.732 and of √2 is 1.4141.414
Hence, putting these values in (1), we get
∴2×(1.732+1)(1.732−1.414) ⇒ 2×2.732×0.318 ⇒ 1.73
Hence, the answer is 1.7375
