We have to find the sum of the terms.
From the given,
a=2,
d=7−2
⇒d=5 ,
and n=19
We know that sum of n-terms in AP is,
S n = n 2 [2a+(n−1)d]
On putting the given values in the above formula we get,
S 19 = 19 2 [2(2)+(19−1)5]
= 19 2 [4+90] = 19 2 (94) =893
The sum of the series is 893.
