Detailed Solution

Concept- Any given value for x or y that is a solution to an equation involving those two variables must also satisfy the equation.
Given: x=2, y=1  , is a solution of the equation 2x+3y=k
Given: Linear equation 2x+3y=k  .
We can find the value of k   by substituting the values of x   and y   in the given equation.
By substituting the values of x=2   and y=1   in the given equation
2x+3y=k
2(2)+3(1)=k
4+3=k
  Hence, k=7
Therefore, the value of k   is 7.
Hence, the correct answer is option 1.
