Detailed Solution

Concept- To solve each of the questions we will apply the unitary approach to calculate the value of P , Q and R.
So, we will solve one by one all the questions and find the respective solution;
(i) According to the given question that Nikita travels 252km in 12 hours,
So, distance covered in 1 hour will we Question ImageNow the distance covered in 21 hours=Question Image.
Hence, the value of P is 441km.
(ii) So according to this statement, the cost of 5 chairs = Rs.750.
The cost of 6 tables = Rs.3600.
Now we need to find the cost of 3 chairs and 2 tables. To find that we need to find the value of one chair and one table .
So, we know that ,5 chairs = Rs.750
Then one chair = Question ImageThe cost of one chair is Rs. 150.
It means the cost of 3 chair is Question ImageNow as we know that 6 tables is Rs 3600
Then the cost of one table is Question ImageSo, the cost of two table is Question Image.
So, the total amount of three chairs and two tables are:
Question ImageHence, the value of Q is Rs. 1650.
 (iii) So, in this question we need to find the ratio. To do so we need to know the total number of students.
Total student = total boys + total girls
Question ImageHence, ratio is Number of boysTotal student in class  Question ImageSo, the ratio is Question ImageHence, the correct option is 3.
