Detailed Solution

It is given cylinder of diameter of base 7 cm and height 60 cm.
Since, Radius = Diameter 2   So, radius (r) = 7 2   cm
Volume of cylinder = π r 2 h   Volume of cylinder = 22 7 × 7 2 2 ×60
Volume of cylinder = 22 7 × 7 2 × 7 2 ×60
Volume of cylinder =2310   c m 3
Since, the volume of a cylinder is 2310c m 3  .
As, 1c m 3 = 1 1000000 m 3
So, the capacity of the cylinder in m 3   is,
2310c m 3 = 2310 1000000 m 3   Now, 1 m 3 =1000l
So, capacity of cylinder in liters is,
Capacity= 2310 1000000 ×1000 Capacity= 2310 1000 Capacity=2.310l   Therefore, the volume of the cylinder is 2310c m 3   and the capacity of the cylinder is 2.310 liters.
Hence option (3) is correct.
