Detailed Solution

Given, quadratic function,
h(s)=2s2-(1+22)s+2
We put the value
h(s)=0
2s2-1+22s+2=0
2s2-22s-s+2=0
2ss-2-1s-2=0
2s-1s-2=0
2s-1=0 and s-2=0
s=2 and s=1/2
Thus, zeros of the polynomial s=2, 1/2
For the verification of the relation between 0 and their coefficients
Using this formula,
Sum of zeros =- coefficient of s coefficient of s2
2+12=--1+222
22+12=22+12
We calculate Product of roots
= constant  coefficient of s2
12×2=22
22=22
Verified the relation between zeros and their coefficients.
Hence, the zeros of each of h(s)=2s2-(1+22)s+2  is s=2, 1/2
Option 1 is correct.
