Number of un-decayed nuclei in the radioactive sample can be calculated as

N=No e-λt    , where, λ is the decay constant.

ln(N)=ln(No) - λt            ln(N)=ln(No) - 1τt                   λ=1τ

Also,

 λ=ln2T12 λ×T12=ln2=constant
