We get ${\text{C}}_{\text{P}}$ is slightly greater than $C_{\text{V}}$ because${\text{C}}_{\text{P}}$  denotes heat required by 1 mole solid at constant pressure per $1\text{°C}$ raise of temperature and $C_{\text{V}}$ denotes heat required by 1 mole solid of constant volume per $1\text{°C}$ raise of temperature so we get ${\text{C}}_{\text{P}}>{\text{C}}_{\text{V}}$
