Concave mirrors are spheres having their reflecting surfaces inside the curvature. The center of curvature(c) of the mirror is the center of the sphere of which it is a portion. Once more, the focus of the mirror is the point in the primary axis through which a light ray travelling parallel to the principal axis after reflecting passes.
A real and inverted image is formed beyond the center of curvature.
In this instance, the item is in front of the mirror at a location halfway between the curvature's center and its focus. The mirror will reflect the light beam from the object parallel to the primary axis, which will then pass through the focus. A second light beam will enter the focus, reflect perpendicular to the primary axis, and then cross the first ray. We shall be able to see the object's picture in this way.
The image will develop away from the mirror's center of curvature.
