s5=50m , s7=70m We get S5=u+a5-12=50u+9a2=50 S7=u+a7-12=70 u+6.5a=70 _u±4.5a=_50 _____________              2a=20                 a=10ms-2 u=5m/s Calculate distance travel in 9th second S9=u+a9-12 S9=5+10172 S9=90m Let final velocity after 8 sec   v=u+at=5+8×10=85 m/s (means during 9th second) And final velocity after 9 seconds    v=u+at =5+10×9 =95 m/s so vAvg=85+952=90m/s during 9th second of journey
