Detailed Solution

For calculating Body Mass (BMI), the person's weight is divided by the Square of the height. It is measured as a person's weight divided by the Square of his height. To calculate a person's BMI, first, we need to take and note down his weight (in terms of kg) and height (in terms of meters). Then, we apply the formula for BMI, i.e., Weight/(Height)². This figure puts the person in one of the four categories: underweight, normal, overweight, and obese. A person with a BMI of - less than 18.5 is an Underweight person, between 18.5 - 24.9 is an average weight person, between 25 - 29.9 is an Overweight person, and of equal to or more than 30 is an Obese person.
