The labor charge is Rs. 200 per hour.
We have to find the number of hours for which carpenter worked.
Let the carpenter worked for x hr.
Then, the total labor charge was 200x.
The amount charged by a carpenter for making a bed = cost of materials + total labor charge
Putting these values,
2500=1100+200x
25001100=200x 1400=200x Now, dividing 200 on both the sides
x=7
Thus, the carpenter worked for 7 hrs.
