Pastoralists were nomadic people who roamed with their cattle because their livelihood is dependent on the animals they feed. Their livestock provided their livelihood and food. Pastoralists did not reside in one spot their entire lives since they did not build a house in one place for stability. They were not secure in terms of housing or shelter. They travel to a location where their cattle can graze, but as time passes, the grazing field is maintained and changed into cultivated land, and they are no longer permitted to graze their livestock there.
