a

Potential of the conductor is  q4πE0(d+R)

b

Potential of the conductor is  q4πϵ0d

c

Potential of the conductor can't be determined as nature of distribution of induced charges is not known

d

Detailed Solution

As no charge is present inside the conductor, potential at any point inside the conductor is same as that of potential of conductor.

So, potential of conductor = potential at center

=Vq+Vinduced charges Vconductor =q4π0(d+R)+0

as total induced charge at conductors surface is equal to 0, potential at center due to induced charge is also zero.

For point B

Vconductor =Vat point B=Vq+Vinduced charges

Vinduced charge =q4πϵ0(d+R)q4πϵ0d=qR4πϵ0(d+R)
