Given, angles on the lines l and m intersecting by a transversal t are: ( 4x−30 ) ° and (2x+10) °  .
Question ImageWe know that corresponding angles are equal, So,
⇒ 4x−30 ° = 2x+10 °  
⇒4x−2x= 10 ° + 30 °  
⇒2x= 40 °  
⇒x= 20 °  
When value of x   is 20 °  ,the lines l and m will be parallel to each other.
