Cyber and computers laws are formed by the Union Government. Cyber and computers as a subject emerged after the emergence of the Indian constitution. This subject is mentioned in none of the three lists, that is the Union List, the State List, and the Concurrent List. As already stated, those subjects which emerged after the enactment of the constitution will directly go under the jurisdiction of the Union government, and only the Union government will have the authority to form laws on them. This is the reason why laws on cyber and computers are only formed by the Centre or Union Government.
