Founder of Khudai Khidmatgars was Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan.
Badshah Khan, "Sarhadi Gandhi," and Frontier Gandhi were all nicknames for Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan. He was born in 1890 and passed away in 1988. He was a Pashtun leader and Mahatma Gandhi devotee known for his nonviolent opposition to British rule. He was the founder of the Khudai Khidmatgar movement (Servants of God). The Khudai Khidmatgar movement was a nonviolent freedom struggle led by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan of the North-West Frontier Province against the British Empire. Badshah Khan was adamantly opposed to India's partition. He criticised his colleagues in Congress for agreeing to the 1947 division.
