Let’s convert the degrees and minutes in decimal degrees.
54 20'= 54 + 20 60 = 54 + 0.33 = 54.33

55 40'= 55 + 40 60 = 55 + 0.67 = 55.67

tan 54.33 = AD AB AD=AB×tan 54.33 =300×1.39 =417m

tan 55.67 = AC AB AC=AB×tan 55.67 =300×1.46 =438m   The height of the pillar is,
