Question ImageTake into account DCB with a straight angle at C.
 tanx=BCCD
 tanx=25CD...(1) Now, consider ΔDCE right angled at C,
tanx=CECD             ...(2) Equating equation (1) & (2),
25CD=CECD CE=25 m
BE is the height of a tower such that BE=BC+CE.
As, BC = AD = 25
BE=25+CE  Total height of tower is (25+25) m
Total height of tower =50m
So, the height of the tower is 50 m.
Hence, the correct option is 2.
