Gandhi returned to India in January 1915 from South Africa after practising law. In South Africa, he fought against apartheid that was against Black Indians and protested and launched Satyagraha. He stayed at Kochrab Ashram in Gujarat. After the arrival of India, Gandhiji took two years to know what was happening in India, how India was treated by Britishers. He also gathered information about revolutionaries whether they were moderates or extremists and the working of Indian associations against Britishers.
