Detailed Solution

Fuse wires should not be connected in parallel.
In a series arrangement, the current flowing through each electrical component is the same. Fuses should always be connected in series with the circuit components to prevent the overcurrent in the circuit so that when the fuse breaks, it will disrupt the whole circuit and stop the current through all the electrical components in the circuit. However, in a parallel arrangement, the current flow will not be halted in the entire circuit. In a household circuit, the fuse wire is connected in series so that the whole network is switched off when the fuse blows off. This is the reason why the fuse wires are never connected in parallel.
