G-77 is a coalition of Developing Countries.
Once the modern economy started taking its place in the global world and all the decolonization started. Developing countries want to drive their people out of poverty and make them employable. But even after many years of colonisation, their resources were still regulated by Western economies like the USA and France. So to make their voice heard and draw support from each other, they allied with developing countries and demanded a New International Economic Order. They come together to make these demands in the forum of the United Nations. 77 countries started it, and at present, there are 135 countries in this group.
