Gandhi agreed to participate in the Second Round Table Conference in London under the Gandhi-Irwin Pact.
The Gandhi-Irwin Pact was a political agreement signed on March 5, 1931, between Mahatma Gandhi and the then-Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin.
