With respect to shape of seed, it influences dominance pattern of inheritance and with respect to size of starch grains it shows partial or incomplete dominance pattern of inheritance. Pea plants with BB genotype have round seeds and larger starch grains, Bb round seeds and intermediate size starch grains and bb with wrinkled seeds and smaller starch grains.
