Genghis Khan was the ruler of the Mongol tribes of China and Central Asia. Genghis Khan, a competent warrior and king, united all the Mongolian nomadic tribes under his and his family's control in a rigid military state after beginning his reign in insignificance. Numerous raiding and conquest expeditions that eventually took the Mongol troops from the Adriatic Sea up to the Chinese Pacific coast on the other which resulted in the foundation of the mighty Mongol Empire in Central Asia. However, Genghis Khan passed away in the middle of a campaign, handing over his leadership to his son Ogedai. The Mongol empire constantly made attempts to invade the Mughal Empire in its prime.
