Give two methods of preparations of acetylene how does it react with water and ozone.

PREPARATIONS :
1) On hydrolysis of calcium carbide gives acetylene
${\mathrm{CaC}}_2+2{\mathrm{H}}_2\mathrm{O}\to {\mathrm{C}}_2{\mathrm{H}}_2+\mathrm{Ca}(\mathrm{OH}{)}_2$
2) Haloform reaction :
Haloform is treated with silver to form acetylene
${\mathrm{CHI}}_3+6\mathrm{Ag}+{\mathrm{I}}_3\mathrm{CH}\to {\mathrm{C}}_2{\mathrm{H}}_2+6\mathrm{AgI}$
PROPERTIES :
Chemical properties:
1) Reaction with water
Acetylene is treated with water in presence of 1% HgSO₄ and 30% H₂SO₄ to form acetaldehyde.

2) Reaction with O₃ (Ozonolysis)
Acetylene react with O₃ in presence of Zn/H₂O to form glyoxal
