Work is defined as “the energy transferred to or from an object via the application of force along a displacement.” It is a product of force (F) applied in the direction of movement and displacement (s). Mathematically, Work (W) is represented as W=F scosθ
where, θ is the angle between force applied and displacement caused.
Given:
Force = 50 N
Distance = 4 m
Angle θ= 60°
Therefore,  W=50×4×1/2 (since cos 60° = ½)
                   W=100 J
