The heart pumps about 5 litres (5,000 mL) of blood per minute.

So, the amount of blood pumped by heart to alveoli (lungs) is 5,000 mL per minute.

Every 100 mL of blood containing approximately 4 mL of CO₂ to the alveoli.

The amount of CO₂ delivered to the alveoli per minute = $5000 mL \times \frac{4 mL}{100 mL} = 200 mL$
