The chances of female to have haemophilia is rare because both of the X chromosomes should show recessive allele. Compared to female, male has more chance of showing haemophilia as a single copy of recessive allele present on its X chromosome results in haemophilia. female can be haemophilic when her mother is a carrier and father is haemophilic( not viable).
