Detailed Solution

The cellwall of archae bacteria is made up of NAG and N- acetyl talosuronic acid, unlike the bacterial cell wall which is made up of NAG and NAM units. The cell membrane has branched chain fatty acids unlike the linear fatty acids found in normal cell membranes of bacteria and eukarya.

Thus, these differences in cellwall and cell membrane composition of arche bacteria help them to survive under extreme conditions.
