It is commonly seen in roots. Endarch xylem refers to the condition in which the protoxylem lies towards the center of the vascular bundle, while the metaxylem is located towards the periphery. It is commonly seen in stems. The parenchymatous cells which lie between the xylem and the phloem are called conjuctive tissue.
