Molecular mass of H2 is 2 g, Mass of He is 4 g, mass of N2 is 28 g and the mass of CH is 16 g.

  • Number of moles in He = given mass/molecular mass
            2/4  ½
    Number of atoms in 0.5 moles of He = 6.022× 10²³ × 0.5  3.011 × 10²³

Similarly,

  • Number of moles in CH4 = given mass/molecular mass
           4/16   ¼  0.25
    Number of atoms in 0.25 moles of CH4 = 6.022× 10²³ × 0.25 1.50 × 10²³
  • Number of moles in H2 = given mass/molecular mass
      1/2   0.5
    Number of atoms in 0.5 moles of H2 = 6.022× 10²³ × 0.53.011 × 10²³
  • Number of moles in N2 = given mass/molecular mass
      3/28   0.107
    Number of atoms in 0.5 moles of N2 = 6.022× 10²³ × 0.1070.6452 × 10²³

Hence, He & CH4 are placed in the correct position.
