Given that, weight of marble block 28cm by 5cm is 112kg. 1cu. cm marble weighs 25g.
The volume of a cube can be expressed as V=lbh   . Here l, b and h is the length, width and thickness.
Let the length of the block be d  .
The width and thickness of the block is b=28 cm   and t=5 cm  .
The volume of the block is,

V=dbh ⇒4480=d×28×5 ⇒d= 4480 140 ⇒d=32 cm
