Detailed Solution

Grabhgriha is also known as Sanctum sanctorum.
In Hindu and Jain temples, the main deity's murti (idol or icon) is kept in the sanctum sanctorum, also known as the garbhagriha or sannidhanam. The primary deity of Jainism is referred to as Mulnayaka. The name derives from the Sanskrit words garbha for womb and griha for home, meaning "womb chamber." The phrase is also used at Jain and Buddhist temples, despite the term's frequent association with Hindu temples. Hinduism traditionally restricts access to this chamber to "priests" (pujari), though, in current practice, this restriction is frequently considerably eased. There are no windows in the space, which typically has one door that faces east so that the rising sun can enter.
