Let the ratio between the shirt material and the trouser material= 3:2
Then, the shirt material bought

The trouser material bought

Therefore, the cost of the shirt material,

= 50 × 3 x = Rs . 150 x

The cost of trouser material

= 90 × 2 x = Rs . 180 x

Selling price of shirt material at 12% profit is,

= 100 + P 100 × cost price

= 100 + 12 100 × 150 x

= 112100 × 150 x

= 168 x

Selling price of trouser material at 10% profit,

= 100 + P 100 × cost price

= 100 + 10 100 × 180 x

= 110100 × 180 x

= 198 x

Now, Selling price of shirt material + Selling price of trouser material= Total sale amount.

⇒ 168 x + 198 x = 36600 ⇒ 366 x = 36600 ⇒ x = 36600366 ⇒ x = 100 m

The length of the trouser material bought is

= 2 × 100

=200 m.
Hence, the length of the trouser material bought is 200 m.
Correct option is 2.
