Detailed Solution

Hitler integrated Austria and Germany in 1938 under the slogan One people, one empire, one leader.
The Anschluss, the annexation of the Federal State of Austria into the German Reich, was on 13 March 1938. The idea of a united Germany and Austria that would create a "Greater Germany '' arose after the unification of Germany but without Austria and the German Austrians from the Prussian-dominated German Empire in 1871. After the First World War ended, the newly formed republic of Germany and Austria wanted to come together. Still, the Treaty of Germain and The Treaty of Versailles prohibited their unification. When Adolf Hitler rose to power, the idea of unification again rose, and he integrated Austria with Germany under the slogan "One People, One Empire, One Leader''.
