Detailed Solution

Resources are classified based on their origin as biotic and abiotic resources.
Biotic resources incorporate all living components of the climate. Woodlands, crops, birds, natural life, fishes and other marine lives are instances of biotic assets. These assets imitate and recover themselves and are consequently inexhaustible. Coal and mineral oil are likewise biotic resources, yet they are non-inexhaustible. Abiotic resources incorporate all non-living components of the climate. Land, water, air and minerals, e.g., iron, copper, gold, silver and so forth, are abiotic assets. They are exhaustible as they cannot be recovered or recreated.
