How did the 2004 tsunami affect Indira Point?

During the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami, ground subsidence of about 4–4.25 m was recorded at the southern tip of Great Nicobar. Parts of the Indira Point lighthouse area were inundated, and several residents and researchers were reported missing.
