How do farmers separate lighter husk particles from heavier seeds of grains?

In winnowing, the mixture is made to fall from a height, and then due to the wind the lighter particle is carried away by the wind and the heavier particles are collected as a heap at the bottom. Thus, farmers use the method of winnowing to separate husks from the heavier seeds of grains.
