How do the trees die?

The roots are the most sensitive parts of a tree hidden in the earth. The tree gets air and water through roots. When a tree is uprooted, it follows certain steps which finally kill it. It goes, from scorching and choking in the sun and air which leads to the processes of browning, hardening, twisting and withering leading to the ultimate death of a tree.
