How does the air move in a land breeze?

• At night, the ground cools down quickly as compared to the water in the large water bodies like ocean. 
• Due to this, the air pressure above the land is higher than the pressure on the surface of the ocean.
• As a result, the wind starts blowing from a high-pressure region that is the land to a low-pressure region that is the ocean. This is called a land breeze.

Therefore, we can say that land breeze flow from the land to the ocean.
