How is polio caused?

Polio is a very common disease found in almost all areas in India. Two out of every five children must be suffering from polio which affects their growth and functions. Polio is a deadly disease at times when timely care is not taken of. Polio is caused by a virus that usually occurs among young children and infants. That is the reason why children by given anti-polio doses at a very young age in order to avoid this disease. Parental care must be taken in order to avoid this disease as it can hamper the growth in children and disturb their life processes.
