Given,
A 3-digit number formed by using the digits of = 1 to 9
= 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
As per given condition no digit is repeated from 1 to 9
So, remaining digits can be used after using first and second number= 8 digit
Similarly,
To cover the 100th of space (0 can not come at first place) = 7 digits
So, required number of ways
=9P3
=9×8×7
=72×7
=504
Hence, the required number of ways = 504.
