and speed of water in the pipe is 30 cm/sec.
As, 1minute=60seconds
So, water flow in 1 minute

= 30 × 60

⇒

Water flow in 1 minute

= 1800 c m

We know, volume =

The area of cross-section is

π r 2

5 cm 2

and

h = 1800

cm

V o l u m e = 5 × 1800 ⇒ V o l u m e = 9000 c m 3

As 1000

=1litre,
