Detailed Solution

Given that the base diameter and height of the right circular cylinder is d=4.5 cm and h=10cm.
The radius of the right circular cylinder will be,
r= d 2 r= 4.5 2 r=2.25cm   The expression to obtain the volume of a circular disk shape geometry is, V=π r 2 h.   Here, r is the radius of a disk.
So, the volume of the right circular cylinder is,  2 3 π r 3 = 1 3 π r 2 h 2 3 π 8 3 = 1 3 π 6 2 h h= 1024 36 h=28.4cm
The radius of the metallic circular disc will be,
  r= d 2 r= 1.5 2 r=0.75cm
 So, the volume of the metallic circular disc is,
V=π r 2 h.
The value of the number of metallic circular discs. We get,
n= V V' n= 159 0.353 n=450
The number of metallic circular discs is 450.
Therefore, the correct option is 1.
