Detailed Solution

The Indian Parliament consists of three parts. 1) The President - The President is the first citizen of the country elected for five years. The election is indirect by the electoral college. Besides the President, the Parliament consists of two houses (bicameral). 2) The Lok Sabha is the Parliament's lower house. The House of the People (Lok Sabha) is five years, and the maximum strength is 550. The members are elected directly by the people. 3) The Rajya Sabha is the upper house of the Parliament. The house does not have tenure. Every two years, one-third of the members retire. The tenure of the members is six years. The maximum strength is 250. Indirect elections occur for the Rajya Sabha.
