Detailed Solution

There are two parts to Yajurveda.
The Yajurveda (from the Sanskrit terms' yajus' (worship) and'veda' (knowledge)) is a collection of prose mantras used in worship rituals. It is a collection of ritual-offering sentences written in the ancient Vedic Sanskrit language that a priest spoke as someone completed ritual activities like standing in front of the yajna fire. The two main sections of the Yajurveda are the "black" or "dark" (Krishna) and the "white" or "bright" (Shukla) Yajurvedas. The term "white" refers to the "well-arranged, clear" Yajurveda, whereas "black" refers to the text's "un-arranged, confused, motley collection" of verses. Only two recensions of the white Yajurveda have survived. Four recensions of the Black Yajurveda have survived.
