Detailed Solution

The Nuremberg Tribunal sentenced only eleven of the leading Nazis to death. The International Military Tribunal was set up at Nuremberg at the war's end. This Tribunal was also called the Nuremberg Tribunal. It was set up to prosecute Nazi war criminals. The crimes listed were crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. The prosecution process resulted in sentencing eleven leading Nazis who were held responsible for part of the crimes. Other than these, many of the Nazis were imprisoned for life. Soon the retribution came, and the punishment for Nazis was far short, considering the brutality and extent of their crimes.
