Detailed Solution

The Tamil Nadu NEET 2025 counselling process happens in several easy-to-follow steps. First, students need to register online. After that, they have to fill in their choices for colleges and lock them. Once this is done, seats are allotted based on their NEET scores and preferences. After receiving the seat allotment letter, students can download it.

The authorities also release a provisional merit list followed by a final merit list. Finally, students must report to the allotted institute to complete the admission process. Usually, Tamil Nadu NEET counselling has three regular rounds, but if any seats remain vacant, the state may conduct 2 or 3 additional special rounds to fill those seats.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu, will release the seat matrix for MBBS and BDS admissions under both management and NRI quotas at the appropriate time. The Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling covers about 6000 private MBBS seats, 5275 government MBBS seats, 2950 private BDS seats, and 213 government BDS seats.

The entire counselling process for Tamil Nadu NEET 2025 is conducted fully online. Also, the counselling for government quota seats and management/NRI quota seats is organized separately.
